Continuing Education
Mission
The Continuing Education Department’s mission is to develop short courses, workshops, and seminars for professional development and personal enrichment. Certified and experienced instructors are employed to assist in the development and execution of course competences specific to the instructional requests of business and industry. On-site courses are structured and scheduled to meet the needs of the community.
Our hours of operation are as follows:
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 7:00pm, Friday 8am - 12pm
Registration hours:
Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 6:00pm, Friday 9am - 11am
Note To All Students:
All students taking non-credit Continuing Education classes will pay a $6.00 fee to cover the cost of accidental insurance.

From the Director
I am really excited about the online courses that are offered this quarter through the Continuing Education department in partnership with ed2go,and Gatlin Education. Realizing that the way of the future is to provide instruction that meets the needs of today’s workforce, a variety of courses have been selected to address the ever-changing and constant demands of the information technology field as well as the business world. The following is just an abbreviated list of the courses that are available online: Forensic Computer Examiner, Six Sigma, Paralegal Certificate and CLA Preparation, Project Management, Medical Transcription, Home Inspection, Become a Veterinary Assistant, Writing Effective Grant Proposals, and Real Estate Law.
